Christmas in July
There are more than 20,000 students in Loudoun County Public Schools who receive a free lunch, and a new Title 1 school is being added in the upcoming school year. Of those, approximately 1,500 are classified as homeless.

Good Shepherd of Northern Virginia is on a mission to keep the giving spirit of Christmas alive throughout the year, including a summertime fundraiser to support a voucher program for these kids.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
With your support, each child facing homelessness in our community can receive $100 to spend at our thrift stores, giving them an empowering opportunity to purchase the toys, clothes and supplies they need to thrive, as part of a VIP shopping celebration.
​
In addition to funds, we will also need supply donations for our thrift locations, as well as volunteer/team-building opportunities to ensure the donations are store-ready.
We will work with communities of faith and businesses in the county for donation drives with a different theme for each week. We also welcome business collaborations, where a portion of sales furthers the impact of this campaign.
